About
Technology is my passion – particularly web applications and open source alternative software. I’ve been tearing apart and rebuilding computers, playing with software and programming since I was 12 years old, and I don’t see myself slowing down any time soon.
Since my wife is an instructor and I serve as the educational technology coordinator for a community college, I’m drawn particularly to applications and projects that assist instruction in and out of the classroom, helps students collaborate with one another and their instructors, and prepares them for the next age when writing and filing reports online replaces the MS Word of yesteryear.
This blog is my playground, where I learn and discuss new technologies and applications, and discover how to use them in the classroom. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy playing.
